Testimonials

I found Dr. Dave through a friend. I was having a lot of health issues and my regular doctors just wanted to have me take more meds, have more surgeries or just "live with it". After my first session, I could not believe how much better I felt! My health issues include: constant fatigue, high blood pressure, arthritis in my knee, menstrual issues, and headaches. Thank you Dr. Dave.

Having lived with allergies to multiple foods and nutrients, my body struggled until I was in my 40's when I added in the NAET approach with Dr. Krofcheck. My body finally began balancing out my multiple issues with chronic pain and fatigue with fibromyalgia and lupus/connective tissue disease. Combining NAET acupuncture, herbs, and nutrition, I live with less pain and feel normal!

I was speaking with Dr. Dave on a separate matter when I mentioned that my Doctor had just told me that my suspected bug bite was really shingles! Dr. Dave said he could help with the many symptoms I was experiencing. Since I had never been to an acupuncturist before I was a bit apprehensive, but Dr. Dave had a running commentary as he led me through the process. When I left the office I felt relaxed and later that evening I really noticed how much better I felt and how many symptoms were gone.

I had back surgery in 1997, and although limited in some activities, was able to get along very well. In May of 2001, that all changed. I was unable to do my grocery shopping, dishes, or make my bed without suffering from excruciating back pain. I went to my doctor, who sent me for an MRI and to a neurologist. The diagnosis was Arachnoditis, Arthritis, Bone Spurs, and Nerve Damage. He could do surgery, but it would only get rid of bone spurs. I thanked him, but refused surgery. He said, as I walked out of his office, “I will see you in six months.”

We have our family Christmas the second Sunday in December. That is when my son’s girlfriend told my youngest daughter that I should try acupuncture. She had an appointment the next day, so my daughter asked her to see if she could get me an appointment. Monday morning, she called and said that she had scheduled me an appointment. When you hurt as badly as I did, and are unable to do everyday activities, you are ready to try ANYTHING.

I met with Doctor Krofcheck, who explained that acupuncture helps your body to heal itself. He performed an acupuncture treatment, which took about 45 minutes. My future daughter-in-law and I rode up to Big Apple Bagel for lunch. She helped me to go in, but after eating, I could not believe the improvement. The next day, I went Christmas shopping with no back pain. I can see some eyes rolling, and hear some saying, “yeah, right.”

I am 83 years old. I travel, shop, line dance, and am ready to go at a moment’s notice. I will talk to you about my experience. I go for my preventative maintenance every two months, and it keeps me up and running.

I recommend acupuncture to everyone I meet. It sure beats taking pain pills and suffering.
