Herbology

Herbal therapy is one of the major components of Oriental Medicine. It has been used in China for thousands of years. Over 6,000 herbs have been categorized and their properties described. Hospitals in China have integrated the use of herbal therapy alongside western drugs.

One difference of utilizing whole natural herbs is that the action tends to be buffered by the complex nutrition in the whole herb. Drug companies will isolate what they believe is the only active ingredient and greatly increase it’s potency. However, the chances of side-effects is greatly increased.

Therefore, the action of herbs tends to be slower and gentler, especially for chronic conditions such as anxiety, arthritis, fatigue, etc. However, the action of herbs in some acute conditions such as cold or flu can work quickly to stimulate the immune system to overcome the pathogen.

Western medicine and drugs deserves much credit and has saved many lives. In fact, that is what it does best. If I get run over by a car send me to the Emergency Room. But for many chronic conditions, western medicine does not have the whole answer. Drugs are then used to cover up symptoms and the resulting side effects will be prescribed more drugs and so on.

Our goal is to find the root cause of your problem and correct it by providing your body the needed nutrients and stimulating your body’s natural healing systems.

Getting to the root cause, NATURALLY!
